ABOUT US

KARCO Engineering, LLC is a test laboratory recognized by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to perform passenger safety evaluation testing for the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) and compliance testing to various Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). For over 10 years, KARCO has been working with NHTSA on these and various other test programs.

KARCO has a talented and experienced team of experts that have participated in thousands of tests spanning over thirty-five years of automotive research, crash-testing, data acquisition, test and evaluation. KARCO will strive to attain a long-term relationship with our clients by continually monitoring customer needs and scheduling commitments. Clients include:

The focus of KARCO is to provide high quality data acquisition and high-speed photography by using state-of-the-art equipment and custom-engineered test fixtures, operated by an experienced and motivated staff of engineers and technicians. KARCO will design and fabricate all special-application electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical test fixtures, test equipment, data acquisition hardware, and software to support customer requirements. The principles of Total Quality Management are applied to ensure efficiency and the improvement of the entire process while increasing competitiveness.

An on-board data acquisition system, capable of monitoring 240 channels, is used to collect test data. High-speed digital cameras are used to document each test event. KARCO uses Diversified Technical Systems (DTS) TDAS Data Acquisition System which is completely self-contained and conforms to the requirements of SAE J211.
